BNET (Bahrain Network) reached one million safe working hours without any injuries that caused employees to miss work. This has been enabled by BNET’s accomplishment of registering 1,008,873 safe man-hours since the beginning of the year 2023.
The milestone was attributed to BNET’s safety culture. The company said the milestone reflects consistent adherence to international occupational health and safety standards across all infrastructure operations and administrative functions.
Amal Saleh AlMannai, Director of Talent Management and Development at BNET, said reaching one million safe work hours demonstrates the strength of the safety culture the company has built over time. The outcome, she continued, demonstrates the commitment of partners and staff and affirms that BNET’s operational excellence starts with safeguarding its personnel.
Ali AlHaddad, Health and Safety Manager at BNET, said the milestone reflects the company’s continuous drive to apply the highest HSE standards across all sites and operations. He noted that a proactive culture of prevention and awareness among staff and partners made the achievement possible.
Further, AlHaddad highlighted that BNET plans to keep modifying its safety policies in order to create a sustainable and safe working environment. When BNET installs fiber optic infrastructure throughout Bahrain, it will always adhere to international standards for workplace safety.
