HUMAIN Partners with NVIDIA to Bring Level 4-Ready Robotaxi Platform to the Middle East

Prime Highlights

  • HUMAIN leads NVIDIA’s DRIVE Hyperion robotaxi platform entry into the Middle East.
  • HUMAIN plans 500MW AI factories and hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GPUs.

Key Facts

  • HUMAIN is a Saudi Public Investment Fund company focused on AI infrastructure.
  • NVIDIA’s DRIVE Hyperion is the only Level 4-ready global robotaxi platform.

Background

The HUMAIN Public Investment Fund Company will spearhead the integration of the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion robotaxi platform into the Middle East, representing an important milestone in Saudi Arabia’s efforts to emerge as a world leader in artificial intelligence-based transportation solutions.

The collaboration will involve car manufacturers, AV software partners, and ride-sharing companies who will work together to build Level 4 autonomous robotaxi fleets on all three continents – Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. By combining HUMAIN’s expertise in mobility and AI systems with that of NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion, HUMAIN will deliver autonomous mobility solutions within Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region.

Significant funding will go towards investing in infrastructure development, which includes building AI factories capable of generating as much as 500 megawatts of power as well as installing hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GPUs. An initial phase featuring an 18,000-GPU NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell supercomputer and InfiniBand networking is already underway, laying the compute foundation needed for autonomous vehicle training, simulation, and fleet validation.

NVIDIA’s DRIVE Hyperion combines high-performance in-vehicle compute, the NVIDIA Halos full-stack safety system, a multimodal sensor suite, and DRIVE AV software built for highly automated and autonomous driving. NVIDIA describes it as the only Level 4-ready platform enabling the global automotive industry to build and scale robotaxi fleets.

Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, said autonomous mobility will become one of the defining AI platforms of the next decade, and that the collaboration aims to build AI-native infrastructure connecting the digital and physical worlds at scale.

Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, said vehicles are becoming robots and that robotaxi fleets need AI infrastructure capable of perceiving, reasoning, and operating safely in real-world conditions.
