Background-

Saudi real estate developer Rikaz has partnered with First Avenue Real Estate Development Company, AlMajdiah and SNB Capital to launch an investment fund focused on the development of educational facilities across Saudi Arabia.

SNB Capital will manage the fund. The partnership brings together expertise in real estate development, investment, and asset management, with the shared goal of building and improving education infrastructure across different regions of the Kingdom.

The fund plans to acquire and develop educational assets, form partnerships with local and international operators, and explore opportunities that sit at the intersection of education and residential or mixed-use developments.

Organizers say integrating schools and learning facilities within broader community projects can lift the long-term value of those developments while making neighborhoods more attractive to families.

Rikaz Chairman Khalid Al Gahtani said education is one of the most important enablers of building sustainable communities. He described the fund as an opportunity to develop high-quality facilities that serve students, families, and communities across the Kingdom, adding that the company sees strong investment potential in the sector alongside its developmental value.

The initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which places human capital development and improvements to quality of life among its central targets. The initiative broadens Rikaz’s investment portfolio beyond traditional real estate projects and into the education sector.

Saudi Arabia continues to see the development of new schools, learning facilities, and education-focused projects across the Kingdom.

Funds of this kind represent a broader shift toward treating schools and learning environments as investable assets rather than purely public infrastructure. The fund will also look at partnerships with international specialists as it builds out its portfolio.
