Qualcomm Technologies and AIREV, the Abu Dhabi-based company behind the OnDemand autonomous AI platform, have signed a strategic partnership to promote autonomous AI in business and government settings. Through the collaboration, the OnDemand platform will integrate with Qualcomm Dragonwing products, including the Qualcomm Dragonwing AI On-Prem Appliance, helping enterprises and governments deploy sovereign AI wherever their data resides.
UAE Minister for Foreign Trade and Chairman of AIREV, Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, said the UAE was now creating and exporting world-class technology services, not just attracting them. He said the partnership with Qualcomm marked a regional first by combining chip technology, hardware preloading and registration into the US market as part of one reinforcing business strategy.
OnDemand is a no- and low-code system for building, deploying and managing autonomous AI agents. Built to run without requiring cloud dependency, whether in a sovereign data centre, corporate server or directly on a device, the platform serves more than four million users globally and offers over 300 specialised agents across more than 50 languages.
In the second quarter of this year, AIREV’s products processed 6.8 trillion tokens, roughly six times higher than the previous year, marking one of the highest throughput volumes recorded by a UAE-based AI platform.
AIREV Founder and Chief Executive Muhammad Khalid said the partnership with Qualcomm would allow the company to place advanced AI agents across customer environments, from on-premises infrastructure to edge deployments. Qualcomm Technologies Senior Vice President Wassim Chourbaji said bringing OnDemand to Dragonwing products would expand how enterprises and governments deploy efficient AI agents, and lay groundwork for broader integration over time.
AIREV was formed in 2024 and has grown into a commercially deployed platform backed by VentureWave Capital and Titian Capital.
