Background

The Dubai South Business Hub Free Zone (DSBH) is collaborating with Sony Middle East and Africa to give entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses an opportunity to gain access to technology, knowledge, and education programs. The collaboration seeks to enable businesses to create stronger brands, better content, and grow their organizations.

As part of the collaboration, all businesses within DSBH will be able to get exclusive Sony offers, along with workshops and masterclasses from Sony professionals. The sessions will focus on content creation, digital marketing, brand building and business growth, giving founders practical skills they can apply to their businesses.

The agreement was signed at Dubai South headquarters by Saif Al-Ali, Director of Licensing and Free Zone Management at DSBH, and Jobin Joejoe, Managing Director of Sony Middle East and Africa.

As part of the collaboration, Sony will serve as DSBH’s technology partner by providing access to its imaging and audio solutions on preferential terms. Businesses will also receive guidance on using the technology effectively to create professional content, improve customer engagement and strengthen their market presence.

Saif Al-Ali said the partnership reflects DSBH’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs with both technology and practical knowledge. He added that the free zone continues to build an ecosystem that helps businesses grow beyond company formation.

Jobin Joejoe said the partnership would enable entrepreneurs to combine technology with practical expertise to build stronger brands and reach new audiences. He added that Sony aims to support the UAE’s startup ecosystem by helping businesses achieve sustainable growth.

Both organisations also plan to organise future workshops, community initiatives and educational programmes, creating more opportunities for founders to learn, network and develop their businesses.
