Background

e& enterprise, the digital transformation division of global tech group e&, proposed to introduce the next generation of OneCloud, a UAE-sovereign hyperscale cloud platform built on Oracle Alloy. The platform will be available early next year and will serve government entities, regulated industries, and enterprises across the country.

Delivered from e& enterprise’s UAE data centres, OneCloud will bring more than 200 Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services to customers who must keep data in-country and comply with strict regulatory requirements. The platform will provide low-latency performance, high availability, transparent service-level agreements, and usage-based pricing, supported by e& enterprise’s advisory, migration, and managed services.

Khalid Murshed, CEO of e& enterprise, said the platform will strengthen trust in digital transformation. “With OneCloud powered by Oracle Alloy, we are creating a sovereign cloud fabric for the UAE’s digital economy, enabling leaders to scale AI, modern applications, and data-led services within the country,” he said.

Richard Smith, executive vice-president and general manager for Oracle’s EMEA Cloud Infrastructure, said data sovereignty is now a critical requirement. “Oracle Alloy allows partners like e& to provide a full range of cloud and AI services while meeting local compliance needs,” he added.

The new OneCloud will enable customers to modernise IT systems, adopt AI services, and scale digital solutions in a fully sovereign environment. It will offer hybrid and multi-cloud flexibility, trusted local expertise, and secure connectivity, helping organisations in the UAE accelerate digital innovation while keeping full control over their data
