Background

Industrial Electronics, a global player in software, product engineering, and electronics manufacturing solutions, has revealed plans to launch a new production facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as part of its international growth strategy.

The new state-of-the-art facility will accommodate facility include printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, automated product assembly, mechanical manufacturing, testing, and validation. It will serve the productions of such various sectors as telecom, medical technology, automotive, industrial automation, cameras, etc., and other high-tech products. VVDN said the move is aligned with its backward integration strategy and will allow faster turnaround, cost efficiency, and adherence to global quality standards.

Commenting on the development, Gourab Basu, Senior Vice President – Manufacturing Commercials at VVDN Technologies, said, “The UAE presents a highly attractive environment for manufacturing, thanks to its strategic location, advanced infrastructure, and growing local market. The initiative reflects VVDN’s vision of strengthening proximity to customers worldwide while maintaining excellence and affordability in manufacturing.”

With operations spanning North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, VVDN further strengthens its global presence by adding a UAE facility to its network of eight plants in India.

Established in 2007, VVDN Technologies operates dual headquarters in Gurugram, India, and Fremont, USA. The company runs 11 R&D centers and offers end-to-end services spanning hardware, mechanical design, embedded software, cloud solutions, testing, and mass manufacturing.
