Background-
Dubai Lynx, in partnership with Middle East Communications Network (MCN) and its agencies, has launched See It Be It: Connects in the MENA region. The programme aims to support and speed up the career growth of women working in creative, media, and marketing industries.
The leadership programme will take place during Dubai Lynx Creativity Week in October 2026. It focuses on building key skills such as confidence, resilience, adaptability, and negotiation. Organisers said the initiative will help women move into senior leadership roles and strengthen the regional creative industry.
The programme builds on the global See It Be It initiative, which started in 2014 at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Over the years, it has supported more than 150 women worldwide. Reports show that 75% of participants received promotions within a year, while many moved into creative director roles and above.
MCN and its partners, including Unilever, Nestlé, Snap Inc., Emirates, and the Advertising Business Group, are supporting the regional launch. They aim to create stronger industry connections and improve opportunities for women across the region.
Industry leaders said the programme will focus on real workplace challenges such as career growth, leadership skills, burnout, and negotiation. It will also discuss inclusive leadership and how companies can build more balanced workplaces.
Dubai Lynx said the initiative is important because women still make up less than 30% of creative directors in the industry. The programme aims to close this gap and build a more balanced and future-ready creative sector.
Applications are now open for women with at least five years of experience in the creative industry who want to join the programme.
